ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Eloise Williams-Walshe, a Law (LLB) and International Relations student at the University of Edinburgh.
My love for field hockey started when I was five years old. Since then, I have been proud to represent my school's Varsity team, Team BC (Provincial team), Vancouver Hawks FHC, Polar Bears Academy, and the U18 Canadian National Team. These amazing teams, coaches, and peers have helped me grow in skill, game EQ and IQ, as well as my mindset.
I predominantly play in a forward position, mostly because my competitive nature means that I love scoring and assisting goals. My coaches often utilize me as a tipper for offensive short corners, and I’m a regular first runner on defensive short corners.
My focus is on continuous development as I aspire to be the best field hockey player I can be.
Off the field, I am an avid reader, hiker, and snowboarder!
